The Italian Game
The Best Opening for Beginners
The Italian Game is the perfect first opening for any child. It's been played for over 500 years, used by Grandmasters today, and teaches all three opening principles naturally. When you play the Italian, you develop fast, control the center, and pressure the opponent from move 3!
